I created Antheia Organics with the vision to explore everything I was passionate about in living a non-toxic life and providing a way to share information that could help others do the same. I found essential oils initially as a way to replace harsh chemicals in my home, and later as alternatives for many other things… health, wellness, in cooking and of course they are wonderful when diffused in place of candles or air fresheners! Essential oils are the “lifeblood” of a plant, protecting plants from disease and provide nutrients. Essential oils can be found in a plant’s flower, stem, leaves, bark or fruit. Essential Oils are very complex, containing hundreds or thousands of different chemical compounds; this is what gives each plant its unique healing attributes and characteristics. Just like many choices in commercial products, you need to be knowledgeable of where the ingredients are sourced from because synthetics, contaminants, cheap fillers, and unethical production practices are not an option for the products I want in my home, which is why I use essential oils from Young Living. They offer a Seed to Seal Promise, sourcing from corporate-owned farms, as well as partner farms and Seed to Seal-certified suppliers, and Young Living’s farms use a steam distillation process to separate the essential oils from plant materials. They go beyond organic, they test each batch of oils in house for therapeutic viability. I’m excited to share my journey with you, and hopefully help you find your passion for a healthy, chemical free family life! If you have any questions, you can email me at Info@oilyfamilylife.com
